Dani Eder is an advanced space systems engineer (i.e., a rocket scientist), mostly working on next generation projects.  He attended Columbia University, studying astrophysics and engineering, then worked for the Boeing Company for 24 years, from 1981-2005, all of it in their Space Systems division.  The last major project he worked on was the Space Station, where he variously was a lead systems engineer, wrote operating procedures, and tested software.  After leaving Boeing, he continued with his own design and engineering business, Tirion Designs.  Since early 2013 he has been working on the Seed Factory Project, whose goal is to develop sustainable self-expanding automation to end material scarcity.

2013 BitcoinStarter In the second quarter of 2013 we ran a crowd-sourced fundraiser on bitcoinstarter.com. Twelve people contributed a total of 19.7 bitcoins through the fundraiser or directly to the project because they heard of it. Their funds are being held to purchase workshop tools and materials, and they will get a share of ownership and future production when we reach that point. We thank them for their contribution of “seed” capital (pun intended), and hope they will be joined in the future by other contributing members. We keep the identities of contributors in strict privacy until they tell us otherwise.
